Manager-Nursing | Med/Surg | Full-time | Days

POSITION SUMMARY: 
Assists in oversight and leadership within assigned area of responsibility. Duties may include: assists in the management of the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities; plans and allocates resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet productivity and quality goals; makes business decisions that are financially responsible, accountable, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with organization policies and procedures; reviews performance data that includes quality, satisfaction, engagement, and financial reports; monitors and measures productivity, goal achievement, and overall effectiveness; participates in the preparation and maintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of the area of responsibility; prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track goal accomplishment; leads colleagues using performance management and development process that provides an overall context and framework to encourage colleague contribution.

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements. Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.

Athletic Trainer | Full-time | Days 

Serves as a clinical and educational resource for staff, students, area coaches, athletic directors and physicians. Provides quality care to patients of all ages through the proper utilization of assessment, planning, implementation and instruction. Carries out all procedures in accordance with established state and national standards, policies, protocols and guidelines. 

Primary duty includes the performance of work requiring advanced knowledge, in a field of science or learning, and which requires the consistent exercise of discretion and judgment.

  • Bachelor' degree in related discipline-Required

Clinical Informaticist | Full Time | Days


POSITION SUMMARY:

Under direct supervision, comprehends and advocates the needs of divisional clinical end users for all implemented health care technology. Acts as a liaison between the Information Services Center (ISC), where system standards are developed, and clinical practice in the local system entities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree and 7 years relevant experience required; or bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant experience strongly preferred; or master's degree of higher and 3 years of clinical experience; or master's degree in nursing informatics may be considered instead of clinical experience and licensure.
  • Informatics experience in one or more of the following: CPSI, MEDITECH, Epic, Allscripts, Pyxis, implementation of major vendor Clinical Information System (CIS), project management, workflow redesign, clinical care transformation, and end user education/training. Skill in planning and execution.
  • Licensed in the state of practice - required. Licensed as RN or Medical Technologist. If RN, American Nurse Credentialing Center (AANC) in nursing informatics preferred.

Dietary Aide | Part-time | Evenings

Performs a variety of food service duties to facilitate efficient workflow within food and nutrition services. Prepares and serves food and beverages. Cleans and sanitizes facilities, equipment, dishes and utensils.

Medical Lab Technician or Medical Technologist | Lab | Part time or PRN


POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Performs specimen collection, quality control, patient testing, and result reporting
  • Performs venipuncture and capillary collection
  • Performs and documents daily maintenance and basic troubleshooting on lab instrumentation as assigned/needed
  • Makes decisions on the validity of patient testing based on QC acceptability and correlation between test result and other patient information
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the relationship between test results and disease states
  • Reviews QC records for acceptability, protocol, and statistical indications of method instability
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate in Science Degree in field of Medical Lab Science; Registered as MLT with ASCP or equivalent certification agency
  • Bachelor of Science degree; Three years of college in the medical technology field plus one year internship in a hospital with a medical technology school.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist, and according to state and federal laws, performs a variety of tasks according to policies and procedures. Knowledgeable of the generic and trade names, forms, doses and general pharmacologic uses of pharmaceutical products.
