Accountabilities:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision, comprehends and advocates the needs of divisional clinical end users for all implemented health care technology. Acts as a liaison between the Information Services Center (ISC), where system standards are developed, and clinical practice in the local system entities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree and 7 years relevant experience required; or bachelor's degree and 4 years relevant experience strongly preferred; or master's degree of higher and 3 years of clinical experience; or master's degree in nursing informatics may be considered instead of clinical experience and licensure.
  • Informatics experience in one or more of the following: CPSI, MEDITECH, Epic, Allscripts, Pyxis, implementation of major vendor Clinical Information System (CIS), project management, workflow redesign, clinical care transformation, and end user education/training.
